Project Manager

Plyable, a venture-backed online composite tooling manufacturer based in Cowley, Oxford, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. Harnessing the latest in AI and computer vision, we fully automate the quoting process of tooling and offer an end-to-end ecommerce experience, revolutionizing the manufacturing sector.

As a Project Manager at Plyable, you will be responsible for the end-to-end project management of large programs of work for our Marine, Automotive, and Aerospace clients. You will be expected to design the work schedule, interface with various stakeholders, and ensure tight control of timescales and milestones through regular and accurate reporting. Additionally, you will be identifying and pre-empting any risks to ensure the timely completion of the project.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience managing successful collaborative projects
• The ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders
• An agile mindset and ability to direct and work with internal teams
• A pro-active approach with a “can do” attitude, striving for continuous improvement, effectiveness, and efficiency

It would be beneficial if you have:

• Experience managing subcontractors
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling in particular
• A relevant project management qualification
