We’ve quietly been building something new…
Throughout this year Plyable have been working on launching and expanding Tangible, a new suite of fully licensed manufacturing software packages that we’re offering out to our existing supplier network first, and the first module is now close to release.
Built on Plyable’s proven design-to-manufacture expertise, Tangible includes powerful tools to enhance and co-ordinate manufacturing operations like never before.
Instant quoting and CAD analysis software
The first module to be released (out of 5 planned) is a platform for automated, instant quoting of composite and other complex manufacturing processes. With the software, you are able to upload and analyse CAD files and generate full quotes in seconds, for a wide range of processes, from simple CNC machining to full composite mold, pattern and part assemblies. With built-in DFM checks, blocking up calculation and in-depth CAD analysis and viewers, it provides a single platform for all quoting and feasibility needs.
The first early adopters of this software (real UK manufacturers) have been able to create quotes in seconds that would normally take hours, and reduce 90% of their time and effort when quoting, consolidating disparate processes and spreadsheets into one secure platform.
This auto-quoting module is now completing its testing phase, with a planned release to first customers in the market in April. We have few slots left for onboarding in April and May, so please reach out soon if you want to learn more about this software.

Tangible’s future software packages that will be added later this year have been designed to build on instant quoting, providing auto-generated molds, full project management, supply chain sourcing, and risk management alerts, to provide a single software platform for all processes required by manufacturers.
