We’re thrilled to welcome Jamie Snudden as the new Plyable Sales Director. Jamie brings a rare blend of technical expertise and commercial insight, making him the perfect fit to lead our growing sales team.
With more than 15 years of experience in composite manufacturing across multiple sectors, Jamie offers a wealth of knowledge, passion, and fresh ideas. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and has previously worked as a project engineer, helping bring cutting-edge composite technologies to market. His arrival marks an exciting new chapter for Plyable as we continue to scale and expand our impact in the composites industry.
Aviation has always been a true passion for Jamie. He thrives on building strong, meaningful partnerships with businesses pioneering innovative R&D, as well as those driving more efficient production methods. At Plyable, he’ll play a key role in helping our clients push boundaries and achieve more.
Over the years, Plyable has collaborated on major projects across commercial aviation, enterprise, eVTOL, drones and spacecraft with industry-leading companies. Our work has included the design and manufacture of advanced composite components such as 14m-long wing spars, commercial jet interiors, fuselage structures, and precision fixings. Our journey began in 2018, when Plyable’s founders, both engineers by background, saw an opportunity to transform the composites industry. By reducing barriers to R&D, shortening manufacturing lead times, and connecting key players in both the commercial and defense sectors, they set out to enable manufacturers to solve complex challenges together.
In 2019, we sold our first module of customized, machine-driven composite software. Since then, we’ve built a strong customer base across the UK, EU, and US. Today, Plyable is paving the way for faster, smarter manufacturing with robust quality assurance, delivering speed and efficiency without compromise.
From September, clients will be able to book introduction and project planning sessions directly with Jamie. He’ll work closely with you to recommend the most effective manufacturing approach, covering every stage of production—from prototyping and engineering design to tooling, product creation, and delivery.
